Ufo Days 2024 Wisconsin. Elmwood in northwestern wisconsin has had its own ufo festival since 1978 after a series of sightings in the pierce county community located along the eau galle river. Elmwood has become known as “the ufo capital of wisconsin” in part stemming from a 1976 ufo sighting by police officer george wheeler.
